Currently Viewing Category: Spirit-led Fine Art Most of these paintings were created in the studio, with loving care. They are all from visions the Lord has given the artist, giving them spiritual significance and a message. Most of them are framed or matted/framed, and some have appeared in exhibits. Prophetic art samples created in worship services since 2000 is available in the WORSHIP category. A few of those pieces are included here, since they appear to be more greatly detailed than most of the sketches, hence the designation of 'fine art'. Some pieces may appear in other categories as well.
This commissioned pastel piece was the client's vision of Jesus walking on the water, smiling. As I painted it, I envisioned the light passing through the nail print in His hand, as well as the light coming through the translucent waves. Prices on prints are $20/11x8.5, and $30/14x11.
Thoughtful man representing all Americans, bowed in a posture of prayer at the cross, in the attitude of the late Arnold Friberg's famous print of George Washington as he prayed for the troops and the nation at Valley Forge. Original 24x18" was viewed at KY Capitol rotunda in November '18, and is touring various venues in '19 in the KY Arts Council's Veteran's Exhibit. For information on the original, contact KAC; for info on prints, contact the artist.
A Bible times painting representing Jesus as the compassionate Rabbi, who reached out to the woman taken in adultery. His parting words to her were, "neither do I condemn you, Go and sin no more." We all are guilty of something and the Master is reaching out to each of us, offering forgiveness and a new start. For information on original or prints, contact the artist.
This 30x40" acrylic piece is a vision of resurrection to new life. It pictures a soul searching for love, in a dry and lifeless place, dying and hopeless, until they turn to the Light and see their Savior, the Angel of the Lord, the One Who is Love personified. This vision was seen in the spirit as I was worshiping to "Find Me", a song of Brian and Ramey Whalen on their CD "Praises Rise". Price for the gold framed original is $3,500. Prices on prints are $20/8.5x11, $30/11x14, $50/16x20, $75/18x24, $100/20x26.
This acrylic original was painted over a course of 3 weeks during worship services. The vision was actually seen in stages, as in its creation. The background was "without form and void" in the muted tones, then the different names Son of God, Son of Man, Messiah, and all the names from Isaiah 9:6 came to me, scattered over the background. Then I saw the star that announced His coming and next saw Christ as a toddler. Last I saw His mother Mary, as though in prayer, focused on Him. They were seated in a chair that had elements suggestive of His reign as the Lion of Judah, and the one true Vine.
This framed 40x30" original is available, as are prints in various sizes. Contact the artist.
This vision was created in a worship service from a still life setting the Lord asked me to set up earlier, in preparation. We come to shabbat, or our personal sabbath times, with preparation. We receive His outpouring through the Holy Spirit, as we partake of the elements. The inclusion of the small shofar represents our willingness to declare to others that we have been in His presence, and are forever changed. Because we remembered His sacrifice, He has opened our understanding and given us hope. The shoraf also suggests the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah.
