Compassion Knows Best

Compassion Knows Best
The original for this was commissioned, but prints are available at Staton's Fine Art & Framing on the Boulevard in Hopkinsville, KY. This makes a nice gift for a nurse or nursing student. The Holy Spirit is shown as a dove, because I believe it is God's love that enables people to truly display compassion and mercy.

Tea with Complements

Tea with Complements
This still life represents the complementary colors of red (burgundy) and green (lime) and displays different gifts. The tea cup and saucer were part of a gifted set of dishes from an old family friend, and the moth was found by a friend who captured it for me. I placed it on a burgundy cloth to complement the moth, with the doily as a softening space-breaker. The 11 x 14" piece is $250., unframed in acrylic. As an idea, let me paint some treasure of yours, to capture a memory, or make a statement of color or design, or express your love of nature.

Strawberries & Cream

Strawberries & Cream

7-Iron Breakfast

7-Iron Breakfast

The antique griddle in the background came from an old friend. The rag rug was similar to those my grandmother made. Original is framed in wood for $115. Prices on prints are $15/7x5, $20/11x8.5.
