This piece won honorable mention at Downtown Artist Coop in Clarksville, TN, and was sold at a second exhibit, a few months later. This was our family friend, Patches, who entertained us for 16 years with activities such as climbing into my daughter's basket of stuffed toys. This 18 x 24 acrylic piece was given an honorable mention in the Pennyrile Juried competition in Hopkinsville, KY in 2017. In a 2018 Clarksville, TN, competition, it took first place. In April, of '18, it was selected by the KY Arts Council to hang in the Governor's Derby Exhibit in the capital rotunda in Frankfort, KY, along with 27 other pieces from across the state.
